Be Friendly Campaign

People in the Middle East, including Qatar, don’t smile at strangers. They don’t do it because they think the opposite person will take it in a bad way. People won’t think you’re just being nice or friendly, they’ll think you’re flirting with them. This campaign aims to encourage people to not be afraid to smile more, therefore creating a friendlier environment. It also raises awareness that smiling is a universal friendly gesture and not a “flirting” gesture.
